Co2 testing

Infomation on testing:

Hi guys, i hope this post will be educational. These are a few on the tests i have had and the meaning behind them! if you have any questions feel free to go on our contact page and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Co2 testing: its a test that measures the ventilation, oxygen and carbon dioxide concentration of inhaled and exhaled air, it's normally done on a treadmill or cycle ergometer. Its a graded exercise test which means the exercise intensity is progressively increased.

Wheelchair ergometer sprint: This test is designed to access your anaerobic capabilities. The treadmill test assesses your ability to conduct work over a long period of time, this tests your ability to work at your maximal sprinting capacity.

Treadmill test: Assesses maximal aerobic fitness This can be done through the use of the blood lactate threshold and also peak oxygen uptake.

Co2 testing what the results have taught me:

From my testing results,It is clear I need to improve on my prep before testing. One thing being my nutritional intake. These results have shown me how important it is to have a well balanced diet; that can maintain my energy levels as well as help me reach a decent peak time, power and speed level. From now until the next camp I'm going to work on my nutrition, and come up with the best possible plan to maximise my results and improve for next time
